6 October 2026 Mixed Martial Cards key art: a fighter studying his cards in front of the cage

So I hear you want to be a fighter? We are pleased to announce that we have launched the demo for Mixed Martial Cards on Steam.

In this demo, you start in the gym and, with the help of your coach, learn the basics of fighting and continue to become a full fledged mixed martial artist (or cardist)!

The demo features:

A short single player tutorial / campaign
Multiplayer option after the 2nd tutorial module
31 cards
8 perks
10 coach strategies and actions

Going forward

We are planning on updating the demo as we go, so we appreciate any feedback we can get. There are even now certain crucial improvements that we are going to be implementing this week.

We are still quite a way from full release, which we think might be Q4 of 2027. We've got a lot of work to do! Grappling mode has been in internal testing for a while, but it basically lacks all the card art. It will be a long year for our artist, Julius.
